With momentum building fast, we’re expanding the Boo Crew and looking for a brilliant Web Developer & E-Commerce Specialist to help support o ging web projects across Squarespace and Shopify platforms.

Job Description

Job Role
This is a hybrid creative/technical role, ideal for someone who is comfortable managing the full web lifecycle from building from Figma designs to site performance and client training.

Squarespace Site Management
Ongoing maintenance of the existing sites, including building new content pages, refining layouts, and ensuring the site remains visually consistent and fully functional.

Shopify Site Management
Regular updates for the existing Shopify store, managing product listings, ensuring inventory accuracy, and keeping the site aligned with e-commerce best practices.


Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as a go-to resource for Shopify support, resolving front-end or platform-related issues and offering guidance to both our team and the client.

Performance Monitoring
Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify reports) to track performance and propose improvements to UX, site speed, SEO, and conversion.

Best Practice Implementation
Stay current on web development and e-commerce trends, bringing insights and suggestions to enhance both functionality and design.

Team Training & Support
Deliver ad hoc training or documentation to help internal teams and clients make the most of Squarespace and Shopify platforms.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in Squarespace and Shopify, including customisation, theme editing, and content management.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with the ability to bring Figma designs to life in browser-ready code.
  • Understanding of modern e-commerce trends, conversion strategy, and digital retail UX.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Confident communicator who can translate technical details into plain English for clients and colleagues.
  • Comfortable working independently with remote teams, but highly collaborative when it comes to feedback and iteration.
